Diploma in Medical Lab Technology(DMLT) course include chemical, hematological, immunologic, histopathological, cytopathological, microscopic, and bacteriological diagnostic analyses on body Fluids such as blood, urine, sputum, stool, cerebrospinal Fluids(CSF), peritoneal Fluids, pericardial Fluids, and synovial Fluids, as well as other specimens. After the course,the students are typically recruited.
Diploma in X-ray technology (DMXT) or Diploma in medical imaging technology includes techniques and processes employed in creating images of human body parts for clinical purposes. In simple words it is about an electromagnetic radiation that penetrates within human body and creates images of those structures on a photographic film. They are later hired in capacities in fields such as Radiology technologist,Radiographers, x-ray technicians or Ultrasound technicians among others.
Diploma in Operation Theater Technology (DMOT) includes fundamentals of discipline and equipment in operation theater. This course prepares students to work in operation theatre under the supervision and guidance of senior doctors and technical persons in delivering care for the patients. Their main responsibility is to help doctors and surgeons during surgery and emergency procedures.
